It is the habit of most scientists, philosophers, and theologians to act as though the truths they possess are only for those who have paid the admittance fee, and climbed to the top of the ivory tower where the fancy themselves to dwell. It is to counteract this that I made the Ivory Cabin, a place where the truths and insights I discover are posted in an accessible fashion, with the opportunity for any who visit to post their questions, agreements, or concerns.
Yet, this is not the only role the Cabin fulfills; it is also a place where the wonder and agony of life can be expressed without arrogance, fear, or shame. We all have deep doubts, mind-crushing fears, and pains which we cannot express to the unsympathetic world. To remedy this we create masks to cover our true face, and bottle our pain in the depth of our souls.
